I found your post very interesting,...Dear Cynthia, <br />I found your post very interesting, I have not heard of solar ponds before and I was unaware of the of many uses for solar ponds, including that the heat stored can be used for industrial hot water, heating buildings, Stirling engine for generating electricity and to drive an organic Rankine cycle. If there was an inexpensive way to remove the salt crystals I believe that the use of solar ponds would increase drastically.
